Gas Weedeater v.s. Electric Weedeater?
I am in the market for a Weedeater to edge my grass in the front and backyard. I am unsure whether to purchase a gas powered weedeater or an 24v electric rechargeable weedeater. I'm ruling out a 'plug-in" unit all together because I have accidentally cut through extension cords in the past and I do not want that mistake to happen again. I'm leaning towards the $150 gas powered weedeater because I know it is more than capable of trimming my grass but I just don't want issues to come up later like too much smoking and stuff like that. On the other end, I'm afraid that the rechargeable weedeater will run out of battery juice before I can finish both my front and back yard. Any advice from someone that has tried both would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have used both and personally, I prefer the gas type. As long as it's properly maintained, you won't have the trouble with smoking. IMO, the electric types are a lot heavier and tend to run out of power before most jobs are finished.

These will come with a proper attachment bracket and all you need to do is fit the attachment bracket over the rear wheel using the simple bolts provided with it.
