My chainsaw won't cut right? Please help!? I have a husqvarna 240 with an 18'' bar, and so far the actual chainsaw has treated me great as far as the engine goes. However, I have trouble with my chains. I got the chainsaw manufacture refurbished, and it came with a horrible chain that was deformed. I have a file set, but never really use the guide except for the first few times i sharpened my chain. Somehow, I can never get the chain to cut as it did when I got it. Can anybody give me advice on sharpening my chain? I took down the rakers and that helped but on both my chains the rakers are too low, one chain is only a little low but the other a lot lower. It originally cut better with lower rakers, but now it cuts like absolute shit. Also, how do you file the safety parts of the chain? I really want to find a non-safety chain but I can't find one. On my chain with the really low rakers, what can I do to make it cut right again? Thanks for any help!
