If you bought the mower new then it will have a model number. They are typically on or near the engine. They are also typically on a silver plate. you may need to tip the mower on it's side to find it. there should be a model number and serial number together. If you still can't find it visit your local Lowes store and ask them to show you where it is located on a new mower because ryobi typically puts them all in the same spot on all their mowers. good luck
