Stihl 026 chainsaw help?
I bought a junk stihl 026 chainsaw recently for about 40 bucks. The thing won't start. - The cylinder and bore look smooth still and is not seized. - I still get good compression when I turn over the motor. - Gas/oil mix (proper ratios) is getting to the cylinder. - When I pulled the spark plug out to check, there was no spark. - After replacing the spark plug, there is still no spark. Basically I'm pretty dern sure that the magneto is messed up. Is there any way that I could test it easily with a simple voltmeter? Is there anything else that I'm forgetting to check? Its getting colder and I want to cut my own firewood
