Chainsaw will not start? I have a STIHL MS361 chainsaw. I ran it for 3 straight tanks of fuel then took a break. It was running fine when I stopped. Came back later, fueled up, oiled up, set choke, pushed de-compression button, pulled handle and it did not fire. Also the de-compression button did not come back out. I lifted the button with screw driver and it clicked out. Tried same procedure again, NOTHING. Checked spark plug(it was wet). Cleaned it up and tried again. Nothing. I even notice a little bit of oily residue around de-compression button now. Any thoughts?
Change the spark plug. I think that's the problem.
